Who we are and What we do ~
JOBSintahoe was developed to showcase the beauty of the Lake Tahoe area and the benefits of living and working here. Lake Tahoe is a service driven community and in order for Lake Tahoe to survive, well qualified employees are necessary.

JOBSintahoe provides a resource that will offer businesses an alternative to traditional recruiting methods. JOBSintahoe is owned, developed and operated by locals who know the importance of hiring qualified employees. This site was designed so businesses would be able to post jobs that anyone on the World Wide Web would be able to access.

Fact: Studies show that over 70% of all job seekers prefer the Internet to other methods. Demographic studies state that the labor situation will get much worse and by the end of 2002 there will be 10% more jobs in the U.S. than workers.

Advertising ~
JOBSintahoe's policy for the first year of business will be to reinvest 80% of all revenue generated back into advertising.

Advertising will include print publications such as News and Review in Sacramento, Reno and Chico, The Entertainer, The Mountain News and other publications.

JOBSintahoe will also be advertising on Television through 2 local stations KMTN and RSN. Both Stations reach Local areas as well as Regional and National audiences.

JOBSintahoe is partnered with select companies and will continue to look for new opportunities to generate additional exposure. A partial list of partner's include: snowbomb.com, slidingonthecheap.com, kmtn.com, skicalifornia.com, usasa.org, discoverlaketahoe.com, and various local businesses such as fishtahoe.com.

JOBSintahoe has additional representatives located in San Jose and Chico. These representatives actively post print media at (college campus locations, career centers, coffee houses, grocery store bulletin boards, etc.) and form advertising alliances with other companies to find job seekers from outside the Tahoe area.

JOBSintahoe is a member of the LTVA, South Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce, Tahoe Douglas Chamber of Commerce and the North Lake Tahoe of Commerce.
