Job Description Summary
This position will support a horseback riding camp in San Luis Obispo County. The first camp will be held on August 7th and 8th. Experience with horses is required.

Provides support to the College for Kids Program through assisting the instructors in class material preparation, classroom management, evaluations, and maintenance of student supplies. May assist the program through marketing outreach to area school districts, data analysis, and other related duties as required.

Essential Functions & Qualifications
Required:
  • Knowledge and experience in horseback riding
  • Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of College for Kids students
Desirable:
  • Experience working with youth in a camp, daycare, or other educational setting


Additional Information
Placement as an Aide I, II, III, IV, or V will be based on experience in the College for Kids program and/or other comparable work experience.

Students currently enrolled at Cuesta College will be given priority.
