The Placer County Library is currently looking for two Library Supervisors to join our team in the Kings Beach and Tahoe City Libraries. These are permanent part-time positions with a salary range of $23.49 - $29.34/hour, with an additional Tahoe Assignment Premium up to $1,000/month (depending on amount of time worked). The eligible list established as a result of this recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies as they arise, subject to position-specific requirements.

As a Library Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing and supervising library operations, as well as supervising clerical staff within an assigned library division, program or public service unit.

To be eligible for this position, you must have 3 years of experience performing duties similar to our Library Clerk – Journey. You must also have completed the 12^th grade and taken some college level coursework in business administration, public administration, library science or technology, or something similar.
